Nanded Waghala is a city that is located in the Nanded district of the state of Maharashtra. The city is known for its many cotton growing areas and has well developed infrastructure. It is one of the most important cities in the region and it is also an important pilgrimage site for followers of the Sikh religion. The Sikh Gurudwara known as Sri Hazzur Sahib is located in the city and many Sikhs from different parts of the country visit the place. There is a museum located here that displays weapons used in the past. There are a few places that are located nearby that one can visit as well and these include Basar and Mahur.Mahur is also a famous pilgrim center and one can visit the place from the city of Nanded Waghala. The temple of the Goddess Renukka Devi is located in a hill in the town of Mahurgad. This is a must see if you are travelling to the city of Nanded. More than a thousand devotees can be seen in the area during the festival time.There is a waterfall that is located nearby and it is known as the Sahasthra Kunda, and many tourists can be seen in this place. The waterfall is popular among the locals as well as travelers from people from different parts of the state.

Nanded is a centrally located township in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra and has off late attracted a lot of investment from developers and religious organizations alike to better the services and tourist experience the town has to offer. It is best known for a very famous Sikh Shrine, Hazur Sahib also known as the Sachkhand Gurudwara which was built after the demise of the last Guru Gobind Singh. Ever since the Moguls ruled the Indian Sub-Continent, Nanded has been of strategic importance which manifested into Nanded being eventually deemed a holy city.

By Air : The Nanded Airport receives three flights a week from Mumbai and two flights a week from the capital Delhi. If you are planning to arrive by air, this is a good option. Auto Rickshaws are available from the airport to the city center and this is the cheapest option to reach the place. The nearest international airport is located at Hyderabad and one can hire taxis from the airport to the city of Nanded.
By Train : Train services to the Nanded station are excellent and there are frequent trains from different places such as Aurangabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Patna, Nagpur, Delhi, Rameshwaram, Amritsar and many other places. Trains are the most comfortable way to travel and tickets are affordable as well. Ticket booking starts three months in advance of the journey date. Autos are available from the station to the city.
By Bus : There are many private operators that offer bus services from most of the important cities in the state to the city of Nanded. Tickets are reasonable and the semi sleeper buses are comfortable as well. Bus tickets from Pune will cost around Rs 400.
