Nanae is a town located in Kameda District, Oshima, Hokkaid, Japan. In 2009, the town had an estimated population of 28930 and a density of 133.6 persons per Square kilometer. The total area is 216.61 Square kilometers. Nanae is at the southern end of the Oshima Peninsula, about 16 km away from Hakodate.
