Nahant could be a city in Essex County, Massachusetts, u. S.. The population was three,632 at the 2000 census. With simply one.2 sq. Miles (3.1 sq. Kilometer) of expanse, it’s the littlest municipality within the state, and therefore the smallest city in geographical area. It’s primarily a residential community. The previous Nahant Life Saving Station (NLSS) on Nahant Road, and therefore the new War Memorial erected across the road [from the NLSS] were restored in 2004. In 2003, the bedraggled natural depression Road college was refurbished, and re-commissioned because the Nahant civic center, that is currently home to several native activities and banquets, as well as the native Boy troop fifty.
