The quaint little town of Naggar is located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The town of Naggar is located in the Kullu district, which is very famous for its natural beauty. You can also visit Nehru Kund, which is a hot water spring that is considered sacred by the locals. You can also visit Rahalla falls, which is located at a distance of sixteen kilometres from the town of Naggar. The Hadimba Devi temple in Kullu is also a must visit place.

Naggar Village is located in the District of Kullu in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. It lies on the left bank of the river Beas and about 300 meters above the river. The village is beautifully surrounded by the magnificent mountains, waterfalls and snow covered ranges. The village is known for the impressive cultural heritage and rich architectural style. Tourists can make a visit to the beautiful Gauri Shankar mandir. The temple was built in the 11th and 12th century and according to the historical evidences it is the last great monuments of the Gurjara – Pratihara traditions. Apart from the Gauri Shankar mandir there are other famous temples in the area namely Vishnu, Chatar Bhuj temple, Tripura Sundri Devi, Tripura Sundari and Lord Krishna. Rich in wood and stone carvings these temples are constructed in the Shikhara and Pagoda style.

By Air : The nearest airport to Naggar is located in the region of Bhuntar, and this airport is located at a distance of around thirty two kilometres from the town of Naggar. You can opt for taxis from the airport to the town of Naggar, and these will cost around Rs 800 for the one hour trip. There are regular flights to this airport from the cities of Chandigarh and Delhi. You will also have regular flights from Shimla and Pathankot. Flight fares will range from Rs 3500 to 5000 making this is a comfortable mode of travel.

By Train : Trains can’t be taken to the town of Naggar directly as the town does not have a major railway station. You can opt for trains to the nearest railhead, which in this case is located in the city of Chandigarh. Trains to the city of Chandigarh will be available from many important destinations in India, like New Delhi, Kalka, Lucknow, Kochuveli, Barmer, Chennai and Amritsar. Train fares will range from Rs 140 to 650.
