Naco is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cochise County, Arizona, us. Its population was 833 at the 2000 census. It’s across the us North American country border from Naco, Sonora. The Naco port of entry is open twenty four hours per day. The contemporary city of Naco, Arizona, was established within the early decade. The space was originally settled by Opata Indians. Naco suggests that “cactus” within the Opata language[citation needed]; it had been named but, by combining the last two letters of Arizona and Mexico. Naco is home to the Turquoise Valley Golf Course, one in all the oldest courses in Arizona, with a edifice chemical analysis back to the Thirties.
