Mystic could be a village and census-designated place (CDP) in town County, Connecticut, within the u. S.. The population was four,205 at the 2010 census. A historic neighbourhood, Mystic has no freelance government as a result of it’s not a wrongfully recognized municipality within the state of Connecticut. Rather, Mystic is found at intervals the cities of Groton (west of the Mystic stream, and conjointly referred to as West Mystic) and Stonington (east of the Mystic River).
Historically a number one harbor of the world, the story of Mystic’s shipping association is told at Mystic harbor, the nation’s largest maritime repository, that has preserved variety of sailing ships (most notably the whaleship Charles W. Morgan) and harbor buildings. The village is found on the Mystic stream, that flows into Long Island Sound, providing access to the ocean. The Mystic stream structure Bridge crosses the stream within the center of the village.
