Detail InformationEdit
The Galicia Sea Museum is right on the shore of the Vigo estuary, in a place known as Punta de Muiño.
This is an urban complex, made up of several buildings and outdoor areas, delimited by a wall and by the Atlantic Ocean itself. The complex offers an overall vision of the importance, both past and present, of fishing and the sea in the life of Galicia, through a range of different exhibits. Apart from the historical view, the museum also teaches visitors about marine ecosystems and their biodiversity, in order to highlight the importance of the sea on various different levels.
