Aroma and flavour. An overview of the highly-prized spice, cultivated in this region of Teruel.
The museum contains 150 pieces that will let visitors discover a crop that is very familiar in this region: that of the saffron plant. The objects on display take in all the processes of cultivation, from the preparation of the soil for planting, through to the harvest of the flowers, separation of the stamens, roasting, weighing and finally the sale of the product. The exhibition is complemented by photographic and audiovisual material.
