In the Bronze Age the “Piller Sattel” saddle was a sacrificial site were sacrificial animals were burnt on an altar. Their ashes were deposited on the ash hill. From early Iron Age onwards, offerings were sacrificed (weapons, coins, jewelry), which are now exhibited at the Archeological Museum in Fließ.
