Morongo natural depression could be a census-designated place (CDP) in San Bernardino County, California, u. S.. The population was three,552 at the 2010 census, up from 1,929 at the 2000 census.
According to the u. S. Agency, the CDP incorporates a total space of twenty five.2 sq. Miles (65 km2), all land.
Morongo natural depression lies on the western fringe of the Mojave and close to the northern fringe of the Coachella natural depression, and in and of itself is mostly dry. Monsoonal wet results in thunderstorms occasionally throughout the summer, however within the winter, Pacific storms bring most of the rain.
