Morón is one among 10 municipalities in province Ciego Diamond State Ávila in central Cuba. It’s the second in importance and therefore the oldest. Morón is that the nighest town to the traveler resorts on Cayo cocoa palm and Cayo Guillermo.
Morón has the biggest natural water mirror in Cuba, lake Diamond State Leche, of 67.2 km2 (25.9 sq mi). Cayo Guillermo, one among the cays of Jardines del Rey archipellago is found north of Morón, across the Bay of Dogs (Bahia Perros).
