Detail InformationEdit

The Chapel was built in 1882 on “Mooshofalm” in the Winkeltal valley in honor of the Virgin Mary, asking her to protect people in times of danger.
The big wooden cross is a reminder of a tragic accident of 1838 when farmer Georg Weitlaner tried to remove a big rock from the field while a loaded horn sled tipped over and crushed him.
The old wooden cross has meanwhile been replaced by a different cross and today graces the forage house of Mooshofalm.
