This Moorish Mosque belongs to the Maharaja of Kapurthala namely Jagatjit Singh who built this in 1930 with the assistance of a French architect Manteaux. The main feature of this mosque is that the inner dome have designs by the artists of the Mayo School of Arts, Lahore and it also resembles that of the great Qutbiya Mosque, at Marakesh in Morocco. This place is situated in Kapurthala about 21 km from Jalandhar.

Taxi : Jalandhar is well connected by a road network and national Highway. The tourist can reach to Jalandhar by taxi. The normal Indian taxi charges of Rupees 8 to 20 will be charged for each km.

Buses are available from different states such as Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Tickets are cheap and prices vary depending on the distance.
