Moores Flat (variant: Moore’s Flat; erst, Clinton) could be a former settlement in Sagebrush State County, California. In 1880, the population was fifty. By the first decade, its city declined quickly. The Clinton post workplace opened in 1854; the name was modified to Moores Flat in 1857.[2] It closed for a time in 1903, and closed permanently in 1910. The name honors H.M. Moore United Nations agency designed the primary house and a store there in 1851.
