The authorities of Gogolin invite to visit the only monument of Karolinka and Karlik in Poland or even the only one in Europe. At the station square, there is a monument of Karolinka and Karlik in Poland or even the only one in Poland. Karolinka and Karlik – characters of Silesian folk song called “Poszła Karolinka do Gogolina” unveiled on 28th of May, 1967, when Gogolin received town privileges. The author of the monument was Tadeusz Wencel, a sculptor. The monument has a symbollic character due to the fact that it is an element of Gogolin’s coat of arms.
