Montvale may be a borough in urban center County, New Jersey, us. As of the 2010 us Census, the borough population was seven,844. Montvale was incorporated as a borough on August thirty one, 1894, from parts of Orvil administrative division and Washington administrative division, at the peak of the “Boroughitis” craze then sweeping through urban center County that crystal rectifier to the creation of over 24 new municipalities within the county in this one year alone.
