Mono Mills (also, Mono) may be a town in Mono County, California. It’s placed nine.5 miles (15 km) east-southeast of Lee Vining, at associate elevation of 7356 feet (2242 m). Mono Mills has nearly nonexistent, its website is on American state State Route one hundred twenty, 9.1 miles (15 km) east from the junction with U.S. Route 395.Mono Mills started as a lumber camp that provided Bodie’s mines. The primary sawmill was inbuilt 1880. In 1881, a narrow-gauge railroad was engineered from Mono Mills to Bodie. At its peak, Mono Mills shipped virtually forty five,000 cords of wood per year.
