Built in 1896, the Monkey home is one among the foremost known ranch sites within the monument. The builder, Dick Woolsey, his wife, and an outsized monkey lived there for over fifteen years. Once guests came, the monkey, that had its own house atop a pole, would chatter noisily. The Monkey home is engineered into a rock wall on the correct aspect of the ravine. To succeed in the Monkey House, follow reproductive organ Ranch Road fifteen miles to reproductive organ Ranch.
Take a right off reproductive organ Ranch Road at a awfully Sandy intersection close to the bottom of the White Cliffs. This intersection is well recognized as a result of the sand here is incredibly deep. Drive but a mile and take a left simply before reaching the latched gate to reproductive organ Ranch. The road to the left goes a couple of hundred feet before it turns left once more and follows the reproductive organ Ranch borderline.
