The Mirador building is a building of postmodern architecture that is in the neighborhood of Sanchinarro , north of the city of Madrid ( Spain ). It was developed by the architectural firm Dutch MVRDV in collaboration with Madrid architect Blanca Lleó . The project would include 156 apartments.It is a building height of 63.4 meters (21 floors) with housing. The striking thing about it is the large Central opening is 36.8 meters from the ground. It’s a community garden and sweeping views of the Sierra de Guadarrama , a fact that gives name to the building.
The project idea is that this building is a block away from a traditional extension but placed vertically, so the intermediate terrace equivalent to block courtyard and facade variety of colors and types of housing are due to the diversity is in a traditional Apple.Also colloquially known as the building bin Laden , referring to a plane cut through the central hole instead of crashing.
For the construction of the building came together nine separate blocks around the hole.These blocks can be distinguished from the outside thanks to the different tones and similarities in the stones, concrete and tile. The colors white, gray and black build, while paintings indicate circulation orange building. Each of these blocks has its own planning, so they offer at least 9 different types of apartments.
