The MN deposit of yank Art (MMAA), based because the St. Paul college of Fine Arts in 1894, is associate degree yank art deposit with offices in Saint Paul, Minnesota. When incorporating because the Saint Paul college of Art in 1926, the establishment began aggregation art in 1940 when receiving a set of Chinese jade art items in a very inheritance. From the Fifties on, it operated underneath the name Saint Paul Gallery and college of Art and later the Saint Paul Art Center. It had been renamed the MN deposit of Art in 1969 and renamed the MN deposit of yank Art in 1992.
In 2009, MMAA galleries closed when losing its gallery house within the Ramsey County Government Center to improvement, tho’ they maintained offices and traveling exhibitions. Most of the works were place in storage. In 2012, MMAA proclaimed they’d open up for restricted hours within the Pioneer Building in Lowertown in Gregorian calendar month of that year. Among the attendees were LeRoy Neiman. Collections embrace work by David Remfry. Special exhibits enclosed work by George Morrison and Hugh Kappel.
