The pagoda is located in Ward 3, Bac Lieu Town, Bac Lieu Province. With full name as Vinh Trieu Minh Assembly Hall, Minh Pagoda has architectural style of Chinese palace under Ming Dynasty.
The Minh Pagoda was built in 1890 by Minh Huong ethnic group led by Tran Thiet Thuan, the headman of Vinh Huong Village.
Looking at the pagoda’s three-door gate made from stone, tourists will see red-lacquered and gilded in Trieu Minhi’s words. Two main pillars engraved sophisticated vignettes according to cloud-hidding dragons style are in front of the gate. There are many pictures engraved in the pagoda gate wall. They depict ancient royal activities.
The pagoda has many valuable antiques such as rare wood-made pillars engraved vignettes of dragons, kylins’s In addition, there are also bronze set of urn of bamboo-joint shape and 16 types of weapons of tutelary gods.
Quan Minh chinh truc’s is worshiped at the main altar while Bon Dau Cong Cong at the next altar.
