Mineral Wells may be a town in Palo horse and Parker counties within the U.S. State of TX. The population was sixteen,946 at the 2000 census. The town is called for mineral springs within the space, that were extremely fashionable within the Early decennary. Mineral Wells is most renowned for its Baker edifice. Mineral Wells was the birthplace and principal place of residence of Chet Upham, chairman of the TX Republican Party from 1979-1983 and founding father of Upham Oil and public-service corporation in Mineral Wells and also the Loveland Ski space in Colorado. In 1952, Mineral Wells was the host of the Republican state convention within which delegates divided between presidential candidates Dwight D. Dwight Eisenhower and parliamentarian A. Taft.
