Miðvágur may be a village within the Faroe Islands on Vágar. It’s been a municipality till one Gregorian calendar month, 2009 once it united with Sandavágur into Vága kommuna. Set on the south coast of the island of Vágar, Miðvágur is that the largest city on this Scandinavian island. For years, Miðvágur has been referred to as an honest location for whaling and historically, bells would ring with the cry “Grindabóð!” – “Pilot whale ahoy!”
