Messiah Mission Church, conjointly referred to as Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, was a Lutheran Church within the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan. The congregation was based in 1916 and a two-storey brick faculty and chapel was engineered 1926 to styles by St. George W. Conable forty six West twenty fourth Street, at 198-200 Sherman Avenue. The pastor WHO engineered the 1926 faculty church was Frederick P. Wilhem of 609 West 204th Street.
Messiah united in 1945 with St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church thereupon congregation getting into Messiah’s building. Messiah’s church was oversubscribed once St. Matthew’s (with Messiah) affected into a recently engineered church at 202 Sherman Avenue, Inwood, in 1957.
