Merrill may be a town in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, u. s.. the town is found to the south of and adjacent to the Town of Merrill. Merrill was originally a work city by the name of Jenny Bull Falls. The settlement commenced with a mercantile establishment in 1843. The name was modified to Merrill in honor of S.S. Merrill, the overall manager of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific Railroad.
