Maryville lies within the Foothills of the good Smoky Mountains. Chilhowee Mountain, the outmost Ridge of the Western Smokies, rises conspicuously to the south. Chilhowee’s jap flank famous regionally as “The 3 Sisters” is visible from nearly anyplace within the town, and dominates the southern horizon on US-321 between Maryville and Walland. Maryville is seagirt on the north by Maryville’s twin town, Alcoa, Tennessee. variety of little suburbs together with Wildwood, Ellejoy, and herb Hill surround Maryville to the east and west.
