Mary Star of the ocean church may be a Roman Catholic parish situated in San Pedro, California, dedicated to Our girl, Star of the ocean. Situated on a hill commanding the Port of la, Madonna Star of the ocean has typically been referred to as the “Fishermen’s Parish” as a result of its shut ties with the fishing and mill community in San Pedro. Established in 1889, the parish is one in every of the oldest within the la diocese. This church, inbuilt 1958, is that the third church to serve the parish.
Mary Star of the ocean serves around five,500 registered families.
