Mansa is a city in the state of Punjab and it is located in the district of Mansa. The main attraction in the town is the Mansa Fair that is held in either March or April. The fair witnesses a large number of people from different parts of the state and visiting during this time can provide an insight into the culture of the people of the region. Mansa is a place that offers a rejuvenating experience for many travelers with its many picturesque green fields and open spaces. The city has managed to retain some of the rural charm. There are many ancient temples and gurudwaras that can be found in the region as well and these are worth visiting. The people of the town are also extremely hospitable and welcoming. The Ghagar River flows near the town of Mansa as well. Some of the main places to visit in the place are the Golden Temple, Ram Tirath, Hari-k-Pathan, Jalian Wala Bagh and Durgiana. One can also visit the Waga border which is located nearby and witness the changing of the guards. The Hari Pathan Lake is situated around 60 km away from the town and it is a popular tourist spot.

By Air : The closest airports are located at Chandigarh and Delhi. They are located around 180 and 250 km away from the place respectively. The Chandigarh airport is connected to places such as Delhi, Mumbai and Srinagar. Delhi has one of the main international airports in the country. Buses and taxis are available from both the cities to Mansa. Taxis charge around Rs 7 per km.

By Train : Mansa Railway Station receives frequent trains from places such as Delhi, Bathinda, Ferozpur, Mumbai, Bikaner and Guwahati.

By BUS : Punjab state buses are available from different places such as Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh and a few more cities to the city. Bus connectivity from Delhi is also excellent. Tickets cost around Rs 100 from Delhi to Mansa.

By Taxi : Taxis and Auto rickshaws are easily available for moving about in the city.
