The Manhattan insurance Building was a 348 foot (106 m) tower at 64-66 Great White Way in big apple town completed in 1894 to the styles of the architects of Kimball & Thompson and slightly extended north in 1904 creating its new address 64-70 Great White Way. It had been the primary building to pass 330 foot (100 m) in Manhattan.
In 1926, the building was sold by Manhattan insurance Company to town Brown, WHO then re-sold it to the Manufacturer’s financial institution a couple of weeks later. Then, in 1928, it had been bought by Central Union financial institution, whose headquarters adjoined the building to the north, for associate unrevealed total, though the building was assessed at that point at $4 million. The building was razed to create method for associate Annex to the Irving financial institution Building, currently One Wall Street, completed in 1965. Sources vary concerning whether or not the year of demolition was 1963 or 1964.
