Approachable on route 43 the village is visited by Many people through the thermal water and silt coming from the river Maros. The particular capatilies of the landscape also attract visitors. Thermal water and silt are siutble for curing locomotor diseases and arthritis. In 2004 Hungary was awarded of the title of “The most flowery country”. In 2004 it received gold, in 2005 silver medal In the town may monuments can be also found. In summer the Operett Festival and the so called Musik of Makó are organised and entertain more then 3000 inquires. The International Onion Festival takes place on the week in every September.
