Majske Poljane is a village in Croatia. It is part of Glina. The village is within the Serbian Orthodox Church’s Diocese of Upper Karlovac. Majske Poljane is the birthplace of Yugoslav mathematicians Đuro Kurepa (1907–1993), and Svetozar Kurepa (1929–2010). It was part of Austro-Hungarian Empire at the time of Djuro Kurepa’s birth and part of Yugoslavia at the time of Svetozar Kurepa’s birth.
