Magrath could be a city in Cardston County, Alberta, Canada.Magrath is found close to the Canadian chain of mountains and is thirty two kilometer (20 mi) south of Lethbridge and 242 kilometer (150 mi) south of city.Magrath was established in 1899 by settlers sent by The Church of Son of present Saints from Utah and Gem State. These Mormon settlers were recruited by the Alberta Railway and Irrigation Company to construct irrigation works within the space. The settlers were paid in money and land within the city.
