The Magnolia Mound Plantation home is a French Creole house made in 1791 close to the river in capital of Louisiana, Louisiana. Several amount documents visit the plantation as Mount Magnolia. The house and a number of other original outbuildings on the grounds of Magnolia Mound Plantation area unit samples of the vernacular fine arts influences of early settlers from France and therefore the archipelago. The complicated is in hand by the town of capital of Louisiana and maintained by its Recreation Commission (BREC). It’s settled some one mile south of downtown. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
The house was originally four rooms, with side-by-side area arrangement.
