Magna may be a census-designated place (CDP) and territorial division in Salt Lake County, Utah, u. s.. The population was twenty six,505 at the 2010 census, a moderate increase over the 2000 figure of twenty-two,770. Magna is home to the Kennecott stack, the tallest free-standing structure within the u. s. west of the Mississippi River in line with the Kennecott web site.
