The full general Bridge could be a bridge that spans the Detroit River between port, Michigan and young woman island. The bridge, that options nineteen total arches across a pair of,193 feet (668 m), provides main access to young woman island. Completed in 1923 for $2,635,000 USD, it replaced a largely picket bridge that accidentally caught fireplace and was destroyed in 1915.
The bridge, once called the young woman island Bridge, was later renamed the general Bridge when General general in 1942. It had been remodeled in 1986 at a price of $11.5 million.
