The Lyman House Memorial deposit, conjointly called the Lyman deposit, is a Hilo, Hawaii-based explanation deposit supported in 1931 within the Lyman family mission house, originally in-built 1838.The mission house was extra to the National Register of Historic Places on March twenty four, 1978 as website 78001012.Almost a century when the missionaries, a deposit was supported in 1931 by their descendents.
In the late Sixties noted designer Vladimir Ossipoff designed and engineered a deposit building adjacent to the mission house. Upon its completion, the deposit touched there and distended its exhibits. It’s in depth displays on Hawaiian culture and is famous for its assortment of shells and minerals, as well as a specimen of orlymanite, named for urban center Hammond Lyman (1903–1986), the museum’s founder and nice grandchild of David and married woman Lyman.
