The Lubuski Theatre gives regular plays as well as the occasional concerts and cabarets performances.Housed in the building from 1931 designed by Oskar Kaufmann – an architect from Berlin. Before the Second World War there was a theatre, a cinema, a bank and the city council meeting chamber in the whole complex. After 1945 the amateur theatre and a cinema operated in the building. In 1950 on the initiative of the National Provincial Council, the Lubuski State Theatre was established. In 1964 the name was changed to the Leon Kruczkowski Lubuski Theatre.
