Los Ranchos First State urban center, identified domestically merely as “Los Ranchos,” may be a village in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, us. The population was six,024 at the 2010 Census. A part of the urban center Metropolitan applied math space, Los Ranchos is found on the side of the Rio Bravo, adjacent to the unorganized North vale space. Los Ranchos is encircled on 3 sides by the larger town of urban center and its location astraddle busy transportation routes has been a supply of friction with its larger neighbor, as Los Ranchos’ efforts to keep up its rural character conflicts with Albuquerque’s want to boost transportation.
According to the us government agency, the village includes a total space of four.1 sq. Miles (10.6 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there have been five,092 people, 1,997 households, and 1,431 families residing within the village. The population density was one,247.3 folks per area unit (481.9/km²). There have been a pair of,107 housing units at a median density of 516.1 per area unit (199.4/km²). The racial makeup of the village was eighty one.60% White, 0.49% African yankee, 1.55% Native yankee, 0.71% Asian, 0.06% Pacific indweller, 12.14% from different races, and 3.46% from 2 or a lot of races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were thirty seven.41% of the population.
