Los Ebanos may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Hidalgo County, Texas, u. S.. The population was 403 at the 2000 census. It’s a part of the McAllen–Edinburg–Mission Metropolitan applied mathematics space. Town is called once the Texas Ebony (Ebenopsis ebano) that anchors the Los Ebanos Ferry. In line with the u. S. Authority, the CDP incorporates a total space of zero.6 sq. Miles (1.6 km2), all of it land. Los Ebanos conjointly is an officer border crossing between the u. S. And Mexico via the Los Ebanos-Diaz Ordaz Ferry. The non-automatic cable ferry provides transport between Los Ebanos and Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas.
