“Loretańska” Chapel – the authorities of town Głogówek invite to see the southern Italian style. It came into being in 1630, during reigning of Jerzy III, it was a replica of chapel of Holy Mother in Loretto, in the south of Italy. Jerzy III was 3 times in Italy in order to reconstruct the chapel for his subjects. It used to be a separate building, but later due to the rebuilding of Franciscan’s church, the chapel was absorbed into the church. Now it is a unique architecture’s object – church in church.
