Long Lake could be a town in Hennepin County, Minnesota, u. s.. throughout the center to late nineteenth century, Long Lake developed like several different cities. A sawmill was erected (1866), the railroad reached Long Lake (1868), a faculty district was organized (1869), a sales outlet was started (1870), the Freethinkers Hall was organized (1874), a grinder was established (1875), and a building was another (1875). These establishments were all-important parts to early city development within the higher geographical area.
