Lockport is found in northeastern Illinois, thirty miles southwest of Chicago, and north of Jolliet, at locks connecting Chicago hygienic and canal with the Des Plaines stream via the Lockport Powerhouse. In keeping with the u. S. Federal agency, town features a total space of seven.1 sq. Miles (18km2), of which, 7.1 sq. Miles (18km2) of it’s land and zero.14% is water.
