Lincolnshire could be a village within the Vernon territorial division region of Lake County, in the U.S. state of Illinois. The village could be a suburban area of Chicago, a town within the adjacent Cook County. Its population was vi,108 at the time of the 2000 census. Lincolnshire was incorporated on August five, 1957, from the unorganised 0.5 Day space once land was purchased to create a residential subdivision. The community underwent AN aggressive era of enlargement from 1983 to the Nineties. The Des Plaines watercourse bisects the village, passing from north to south; Illinois Route 2} conjointly divides the village into two components, crossing the village from east to west.
