Lied ice mass may be a ice mass shut north of Cape Arkona on the southwest facet of detected Island within the southern ocean. To the southeast of song ice mass is Gotley ice mass, whose terminus is found between Cape Arkona and Cape Labuan. Cape Arkona separates song ice mass from Gotley ice mass. To the north of song ice mass is Abbotsmith ice mass.
Lied ice mass was surveyed by ANARE (Australian National Antarctic analysis Expeditions) in 1948. It had been named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for N.T. Lied, operator and weather observer with ANARE on detected Island within the years 1951 and 1963, severally.
