The Library of the Congress of United Mexican States ( at one time the urban center Church) largely contains the records of the country’s legislative sessions since its Independence. It’s set at twenty nine Tacuba Street, close to the corner with Bolivar within the historic center of Ciudad de Mexico. This structure was originally a part of a Poor Clares convent based within the sixteenth century, however was clean up by the Reform Laws of the nineteenth century. Since then, this building has been used as government offices, barracks and even a cantina. It current use was established in 1962, once the Library of Congress was based by the Mexican government. Since then, the archives it homes have outgrown the building and variety ar housed at the Palacio Legislativo Diamond State San Lázaro still.This building has 845m2 of area.However, since then, the library’s archives have outgrown the building and auxiliary buildings currently house archives still.
