The Leslie-Lohman repository of Gay associate degreed Lesbian Art (LLM) is an art repository within the SoHo district of recent House of York town that collects, preserves and exhibits visual arts created by LGBT artists or art concerning LGBT themes, issues, and people. It’s a gallery for temporary exhibitions and includes a large permanent assortment of art list over twenty two,000 items, including, painting, drawing, photography, prints and sculpture. It’s been recognized together of the oldest arts teams engaged within the assortment and preservation of gay art.
In could 2011, it had been authorised as associate degree formally recognised repository by the State of recent House of York and therefore the name was modified to its current name from the Leslie-Lohman Gay Art Foundation. The permanent assortment contains the works of variety of well-known artists like Andy Warhol, Delmas Howe, film producer, Deni Ponty, Robert Mapplethorpe, St. George Platt Lynes, crust and Arthur hair style.
