Lakshmi Narasimha temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his wife Lakshmi is an exquisitely carved stone and wooden shrine, originally located in Sankhavali or Sanchole village near the town of Salcette. The shrine was later shifted to Sylvan environs along with other Lords such as Vijaydurga and Shanthadurga. The wooden pillars and bars as well as the stone carvings depict the Narsimha Puran wherein Lord Vishnu reincarnated as half man half lion. The carvings are beautiful and depict the entire life cycle. The sanctum houses the idols of Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. The annual Jatra is an event one must witness.

Shri Laxmi Narasimha Temple, built in 18th century, is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. A small group of GSBs migrated from Goa settled in Tellichery in the latter half of 17th century and early part of 18th century. They built a small shrine dedicated to Lord Kodanda Rama, in the Tellichery town.
