It came into being in the years 1401-1424. Undoubtedly in the years 1401-1424 there came into being the oldest Trzcianne church. In 1746 there was built another parish church. In 1846 there was built a new brick, three – aisles church. One of the important elements of its fitting was the classical paintings painted probably by Jan Gloger, in the nave of St. Peter and Paul and the St. Family. In front of the church there was built a stone belfry with three bells.
