Lambert Hall, placed at 1703 Heights street, Houston, Texas, us, was inbuilt 1927 because the 1st permanent sanctuary for Heights Christian Church, LED by Pastor Clark W. Lambert, for whom the hall is known as. On July 31, 1927, the church command the ground-breaking ceremony and therefore the cornerstone was arranged . Several Houston celebrities took half, including: city manager O. S. Holcombe; Dr. E. E. Oberholtzer, Superintendent of Public Schools; and pastors from different native churches.
On October twenty three, 1927, the building was dedicated. Gift were creator C. N. Lord Nelson and contractor P. H. Fredericks. The building had been erected at a price of $39,904.30, associate quantity that enclosed the pews, art glass and lights. Heights Christian Church designed its new sanctuary, round the corner to Lambert Hall, in 1967. At the moment year, Lambert Hall became accessible for community events. For many years Lambert Hall was home for the Heights deposit, currently within the station on eleventh Street.
