Lake Foy Sagar was constructed for an exclusive intention to remove the scarcity of water in Ajmer during deficiency. Being an important source of water, it is also very much beautiful. It is now become a famous tourist spots. This artificial lake offers the eye-catching view of the neighboring Aravalli Mountains. The highest depth of the Lake was 74 feet and the height of the dam was around 59 feet at the time of its construction. It now serves as a picnic spot widely popular among tourists and locals alike.

Foy Sagar Lake is an artificial lake built under the supervision of the British architect Mr. Foy in the year 1892, near Ajmer. The lake was basically constructed as part of a drought relief project, and served as an important source of water.
